Student Testimonials
Brian,
I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed this class and Pat's excellent instruction. I can tell that Pat is an expert in his field - it showed when he was able to quickly answer questions that were thrown at him and the way that he engaged us, even though we were all virtual students. He is very comfortable in a virtual environment - it is never an easy task to teach a bunch of adults and he did it very well. I appreciated the extra sessions that he spent with us to ensure that we covered every chapter, reviewed the post-test answers, and provided us with extra study opportunities with website links and additional material. I would very much recommend this class - and Pat - to Lockheed Martin as a course that needs to be continued.
I feel very comfortable that I can take the CISSP cert and pass it in March with a little extra studying!
Regards,
Lisa
Hi Pat,
I hope all is going well for family and your daughter is loving her new assignment! Thanks for being such a great teacher for the CISSP class. I really enjoyed it.
I’m close to taking the compTIA Security + exam. I thought I would take it since we covered everything in the CISSP class. My question is : I have a practice exams which cover the SY0-101 exam. The practice exam I have is from “Actualtests.com” and has a version date of October (I think, which is after the introduction of the new 201). The new test is SY0-201.(as you know) I have downloaded the objective from both the 101 and 201 tests to compare and contrast. In your opinion, will I have to purchase the new 201 practice exams in order to pass the 201 exam? Or do you think the old prep is good enough for the new test? I’ve been though some books on the comptia security + as well.
After I pass the Security + I’m working extra hard to pass the CISSP. It’s just the CISSP covers SO much stuff! My expectations are to take the CISSP test sometime in July.
Thank you,
Robert G.
